The Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA) at San Diego State University is a student-run organization that is committed to enriching the educational experience of graduate business students at SDSU. The GBSA strives to build a strong sense of community among graduate business students that will last beyond their tenure at the university, deliver programs and events that will facilitate professional skill and career development, and inform students of opportunities and events at the university and in the local community.

All students in the SDSU Graduate School of Business are automatically members of the GBSA. There is no formal registration or fee required. All students will receive e-mail notification of social mixers, business networking, internship and employment opportunities, and career development seminars.

Our Mission

The GBSA is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of graduate business students here at SDSU. We pursue this goal by:

• working closely with Career Services to obtain and publicize graduate level internships and career opportunities
  
• developing networking relationships with local and national businesses
  
• organizing social events where students and teachers can meet and network in a relaxed setting
  
• maintaining lines of communication between the University and students by use of this web page and our mailing list
  
• publicizing and endorsing the value of SDSU graduate students in the business community
  
• raising capital to fund the above activities
